A while back a friend (thanks Katie!) made this fruit salad for a girls night and we all raved over it!  I’ve made it for almost every family get together for Scott’s family, but this was the first time in over a year I’ve made it and we all forgot how absolutely amazing it is!  And yes, it’s more of a dessert than a fruit salad, but we consider it a side so we can have dessert as well (we’re tricky like that).

Seriously though, if you really want to “WOW” anyone at a baby shower, family get together, a pot-luck bring, etc., bring this bad boy.  You’ll be amazed at how fast it disappears and you might even find someone licking the dish.  Yes, Scott’s grandpa was the culprit at tonights dinner.  He even said he’d do the dishes if I made another one tonight! (I’m pretty sure he’s never done dishes his entire life)  Unfortunately I was short the jell-o for the second batch so hopefully the offer still stands the next time I make it.

Raspberry Pretzel Jell-O

If you click on the title or the image you’ll be taken to the recipe that I used on the original blog.  I prefer to do it just a tad bit differently than the recipe so here are my changes:

  • Strawberry Jell-O (instead of Raspberry)
  • Mixed frozen fruit (instead of just raspberries)
  • 3 cups pretzels (instead of 2)
  • 1 1/2 stick of butter (instead of 1 stick)
  • A little less than 1/2 cup sugar for the pretzel/butter/sugar mixture (instead of 1/4 cup)

This treat is so delicious, you won’t be disappointed!
