I don’t think I’ve shaken so many hands in my life.  The minute we stepped through the doors of the church we were instantly greeted with big smiles and many, many handshakes.  Everyone came up to me and said, “Good morning Sister!”  I felt a part of the ward family and I had only been there 2 minutes.

I looked forward to going to church every Sunday here in Dumaguete because of how welcoming everyone was.  Today was our last Sunday and it was sad to break the news to everyone.

“What?! Already?”

“You mean you’re not staying?”

“When will you be back?”

I wish I could give a definite answer as to when we’ll be back, or even that we will be back.  The Valencia Ward will always have a place in our hearts, and we look forward to coming back.
