My sister and her family of 8 moved to Cambridge, UK over the summer so a big reason we planned an extended trip in the UK was to spend time with them!  They took the train down to London one of the days we were there and we had so much fun exploring with them!  Carter and Zellie are spoiled with attention from their cousins haha.  We met up at Borough Market and got some food to eat.  We all got something different including homemade pasta, fish and chips, gyros, and hamburgers and everything was amazing!  There are some “must have” foods from the Borough Market, but I really think that you can’t go wrong with anything there.

I cannot get enough of all the festiveness around London!  We also found a food vendor that specialized in vegan treats and I was so excited!  Since I have to avoid dairy, soy, eggs, and corn for Jameson while he’s nursing, I was over the moon about finding a brownie I could eat!  And the brownie I got was so delicious!  I nibbled on it throughout the evening and it just made me so happy that I could be eating a brownie haha.

Cousins are amazing!!  We walked along the river through a Christmas market on our way to Tower Bridge.  I got a German sausage to eat while we walked 😂  Can’t get enough!

Tower Bridge was stunning at night!  Such a beautiful bridge!

From Tower Bridge we took a bus to Covent Garden.  We walked around the decorated shops and restaurants admiring the lights and had fun watching a street performer!  Carter loved putting money in the performers hat after the show!  The performers balancing skills were quite impressive!  From Covent Garden we walked to Leicester Square and then on to Picadilly Circus.  The lights around Picadilly Circus were AMAZING!  Definitely my favorite area to see Christmas lights in London.

I love my family!  Now only if we could get all 30+ of us in London!  Or maybe just the 14 adults… OR maybe just the 7 girls!  Yeah I’m thinking a girls trip would be fantastic!

A few months go we gave Carter my old point and shoot camera (like 9 years old haha).  He loves using his camera when we go exploring and its fun to see what he finds picture worthy!  Scott thinks I’m trigger happy with the camera, but I’d argue Carter is worse than I am haha.  Carter having this camera makes him feel so grown up and very included in the exploring.  It’s been a fun thing for him and us!

Our Ergobaby carrier has been a life-saver!  Jameson gets carried around in it the most, but Zellie gets her fair share of time in it too!  This Omni 360 Ergobaby is awesome because it works for newborns as well as toddlers!  You can make adjustments in all the right places on the carrier within seconds to make it work for varying sizes!

London was such a magical place to be during the Christmas season!  The lights everywhere and all of the Christmas markets ❤️  Our family has loved this experience!  I will say that seeing all the gardens and foliage all over the city during winter really makes me want to come back in spring and see it all alive!  Maybe we’ll just have to make that happen ☺️  I can’t recommend a family trip to London enough!  It’s such a magical place!
