Welcome to the Where We Roam Villa! This newly renovated single story home is centrally located to all major attractions and beach cities. The large backyard oasis puts you into the “always summer” mindset that makes San Diego one of the most popular California destination cities. With a fully stocked kitchen and personal workspace, The Where We Roam Pool house is designed to make you feel right at home. Booking both homes on the property will allow large families to travel together.
The space
The Where We Roam Villa is fully equipped to be your home away from home. With all the kitchen essentials (slow cooker, Keurig coffee maker, etc.) and counter space for multiple chefs, home cooked dinners are fun, easy, and enjoyable.
The first bedroom has a full sized bed with a work desk for anyone who needs access to a remote workspace. The desk includes a large monitor that can be attached to an Apple Computer. This room is also equipped with a Smart TV.
The second bedroom consists of two full beds with a full wall closet system. This bedroom is also equipped with a Smart TV.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and a full closet system. This room includes a private full sized bathroom with stand up shower and single vanity.
The main bathroom is has a Tub/Shower combo with a single vanity.
There is free parking on premises and street parking (please abide by all street signs).
NO pool heat available at this time.
Hot Tub is available
Other things to note
Please note that trash day is on Wednesday morning. Trash will need to be taken out no later than Tuesday night, should your reservation fall on trash day.
The Gardeners come every Tuesday.
The washer/dryer is located on the garage.

Beautifully updated and well appointed home with a nice, central location to the offerings of San Diego! It was a lovely sanctuary to return to after a day of exploring and adventuring — whether at Balboa Park, Coronado, or La Jolla. Great access to local shopping, as well!
We especially enjoyed the lovely, secluded backyard — complete with a large pool and hot tub as well as comfortable outdoor dining spaces. The home and rooms were artfully curated and very comfortable. Having a very communicative and responsive host as well as ease of check-in and entry made our stay very enjoyable!

The home has all you could need and is in a great, central location. Jake is a good communicator and booking and check-in were simple. A cozy space with comfy beds. We had an 11-month old with us and it was a quiet neighborhood that met our needs.

Location was very good. Neighborhood felt safe and convenient for visiting La Jolla, restaurants and grocery stores. Jake was exceptional with his communication and responsiveness. We had an issue with the BBQ but he went out of his way to resolve the issue. The home was very comfortable. The pool was amazing and the backyard was very private. The home is well stocked, with everything needed to cook, as well as other essentials such as laundry detergent, towels etc.

Wonderful house, amazing backyard and swimming pool, close to beaches, to Old Town and downtown. Also close to Target, Costco and other shopping centers. We went for a family vacation and to drop my son to College, it worked perfect! Everyone enjoyed the break.

My family truly enjoyed our stay! Jake was super responsive and friendly. He offered great recommendations too! The location is super convenient, 10-25 minutes from everything you want to see — the zoo and all sights in San Diego, La Jolla, La Jolla shores, Torrey Pines, etc. the house was clean and very comfortable for the four of us (2 adults and 2 teens), and included plenty of towels for both showers and also beach towels. The best was the outdoor space — pictures don’t do justice to the backyard area and pool — every day after activities we came back and enjoyed it, and dined outside for every meal. The water temperature was perfect! We enjoyed the hot tub as well! The kitchen has everything you need, and extra plates bowls mugs etc. The only complaint I would have as a cook is the kitchen lighting is meh, but really, it didn’t matter.
Our absolute favorite activity was Torrey Pines Natural Preserve and the beach there — perfect for a hike and sunsets!

We could not have been more pleased with Jake’s home in San Diego! It was exactly what we needed after traveling from the East Coast to connect with West Coast family. This is a beautiful home with a hot tub, swimming pool, fire pit, grill - everything you could want. My family loved it. The neighborhood was quiet. We took our 3-year old grandson on several walks in the area - lots of beautifully landscaped homes to see. Easy access to all of San Diego - Zoo, Balboa Park, Legoland, Seaworld, etc. It was a great vacation.

This house is a little gem in a central location. The property is absolutely beautiful. The moment I connected w/ Jake about staying at the property, he was very responsive and answered any questions in a timely manner.
The moment you drive up to the house, you see that it was freshly renovated and well maintained. The instructions to enter the home were made clear, which made the check-in process easy. The home is cozy and full of charm. Seven of us stayed in the home from the ages of 3 - 50 and it accommodated all our needs. The beds are comfortable and there was enough linens for everyone. Lots of shopping within a mile of the home. Close to freeways, beaches and downtown.
One thing we had a problem with, was turning on the lights above the pool. (I never asked for instructions) Second, the water pressure in the kitchen faucet wasn't the best. (bathrooms work great)
I highly recommend this home. Thank you Jake for allowing us to stay in your home. We greatly appreciate it.

We had a great few days at the house. The backyard set up is as beautiful as it seems in the pictures! There is a grocery store/shopping plaza within a few miles to pick up what we needed for our stay which was very convenient. The house was spotless and hosts were quick to respond to our questions.
